1998 saw the birth of my enchantment with Sri Lanka, specifically with the magical corners of the island tourists rarely see and the good-hearted people who populate its rural villages.

Many of my great life experiences have taken place in Sri Lanka - my adopted country after emigrating from the UK in 2002. Family and friends whom have known me a long while understand the degree to which I have repositioned my life. They know better than to ask when are you coming home? They know that I’m already here!
